Departments

Overview

Departments allow you to assign employees to a specific department.

Creating Departments

  • Click on "Employees" in the top right corner of the control panel.
  • Click on "Departments" in the secondary navigation.
  • The "Departments" popup will appear.
  • Click on "[+] Add New Department". A new empty cell will appear.
  • Type the name of the new department into the empty cell.
  • Click on "Save" to create the new department.

Assigning Employees to a Department

This can be achieved when creating or editing an employee. To set a department for an existing employee:

  • Click on "Employees" in the top right corner of the control panel.
  • Click the username of the employee that you want to edit.
  • The employee slider will appear.
  • Under "Additional Details", select the department to which you want to assign this employee under the "Department" drop down.
  • Click on "Save" to apply the changes.
